Letter Enquiry enables the user to view (preview) a form of correspondence created within Sonata.
There is a variety of search choices, such as by correspondence type, allowing a specific letter to be previewed and reprinted.
Once the user has selected the search criteria, they must select either F3, F5 or click on the Search button to activate the search engine.
User can control the number of records displayed on the screen with the Pagination function.
Correspondence can only be previewed if the Letter Document Path has been set up correctly in Common > Static Data > System Variables by a Systems Administrator. Also, TalisServer must be running - see your Systems Administrator if the letter cannot be previewed after a reasonable length of time.
Correspondence
cannot be altered in anyway in
Preview except by selecting Edit >
Edit Letter in the menu or pressing F2
to edit the letter in the software that has been set up to edit HTML on
your computer.
Note - If no software has been
linked to edit HTML correspondence on your computer, then you will not
be able to make any amendments. You will need to contact your
System Administrator.
